As we look at how we will live together in a new post-covid world, we must discover how we can live and age better. This project brought together young and old people through an early learning centre and dementia day care, celebrating that the lives of both these users are improved when they are brought together. This creates a new kind of community in Mestre, celebrating the ideas of lifecycles and memory, especially for those with dementia who suffer from these concepts being abstracted. This project puts community at the forefront of architecture- something that every architectural project should do.
