Contemporary Agora is a meeting place where one can enjoy social interactions through an immersive experience that encourages the concepts of ‘graze and retail’ through the browsing of fresh Australian produce and natives, done at one’s own leisure. Conviviality is prompted through the thorough design of the floor plans that create opportunities for cohabitation amongst the people as they weave their way through the space and view and consume the products available. The design generates a beautiful relationship with the verticality of the building, this is seen with the circular modular insertion in the middle of the space. This form creates another mezzanine that increases the circulation between functions and enhances the overall experience.
