Based in the New York Meatpacking District, this project seeks to meet the requirements of multiple programs as the buildings intend to make up a sanatorium and medical facility during the COVID-19 pandemic before transferring into an elite sports training and medical facility. The implementation of these changing programs is done in conjunction with a strong focus on satisfying the needs of the community in providing engaging public space and appropriately responding to the surrounding built environment that is primarily low to medium rise brick buildings.
