Throughout human history there has always been pandemics, and there will forever be pandemics throughout human existence. The greatest toll of a pandemic is the loss of lives, but through correct procedures, development in systems designed to respond, and infrastructure, a pandemic could end before it is given the chance to impact society. Understanding the parameters for a sanatorium project I based my speculation regarding the future where land is limited; and in a heavily developed city like New York, the project rises and floats above the street.
